  1. What's up, Excel ninjas? I hope this video is helpful. I love me some macros! If you're interested in learning more about Microsoft Excel, you can use the following link to enroll in my course, "Become a Microsoft Excel Wizard in 1 Hour": https://www.codybaldwin.com/excel-course

  2. Thank you for your video and your clear explanation! I have just a question. When you apply the macro at the 2nd week sheet, the column debt_to_income is in % but the order doesn't follow the rule and remains the same. Why?
Thank you for your explanation in advance!

  3. Great video, very informative. The only thing I might add is to perhaps stress the fact that you need to change the file type a bit more, as this seems like the kind of thing that could cause people who rush along (such as myself) a fair bit of trouble :p

  4. Loved this and never thought about labeling the steps in my macros, that is a very helpful step! I can do key stroke macros like this and they work ok for me as long as the weekly report contains the same amount of columns in the same order.

  5. I'm so new to excel but holy mother this can save me 4 hours a month !! It seems you have to plan on a lot of things ahead of time before you actually record the macro. What about if you make a mistake while recording your macro is there a way to pause it or go back a few steps ? Thanks you

  6. Great explanation! This has saved me a lot of time. Thanks very much.
Another tip, when you want to do a Find & Replace, you can use CTR+H, instead of using CTR+F and then clicking on Replace.

  7. Thank you so much. I never even knew what a macro was until this. I created an Excel worksheet from QuickBooks and wasn't sure what to do when saving it and up pops a message about being macro enabled. Great help. If I ever find a little more time after tax season I may be back to click on that course. Adding to my Favorites bar right now.

  8. Why didn’t the macro sort the “debt_to_income” section from highest to lowest like you did in the first sheet? Just asking, this is an awesome tutorial!
