In this short video, I will show you how to quickly split a cell diagonally in Excel.
You can do that by applying a diagonal border in the cell that would insert the line, and then enter the text which is based in such a way that it looks like it is being separated by the diagonal line.

a bit misleading, you aren't splitting the cell and those aren't two "Headers", You can't fill the different parts of the cell with color for example. I was really hoping that was the case as an option like that would be really helpful.
Don't everyone knows that, I thought the new function allows you to actually split a cell into 2.
Creative thinking…
You are adjusting the text not spliting the cell. .
Thanks Sumit. You have just subtracted one from my excel ‘how do I do this?’
Very usefull
Excellent
You are brilliant as always
I thought most knew this, was hoping for a new Excel feature that allowed this to function as two different cells (like R.5C.5 or something to that affect). Still a nice trick for aesthetics
That's cool 😎😊
Cool!
You just rocked!!
Awesome trick! Thank you!
Great
One way is to go to the insert and bring a sample line to the top of your cell.👍👍
Wow
Very professional video, you're a good teacher! (Next time please split atoms!😂)
Btw. the title is misleading a bit, because this doesn't splits the cell, only virtually. But anyway, the idea is awesome, congrats!
When i first saw this channel, i thought Trump knows excel…lol.
Thank you for sharing this tip. very useful. much appreciated.
Thanks for this!
Thanks
Hey buddy!
I had a doubt. If there are multiple excel files with single sheet in it and I want to combine them all in one excel file with multiple sheets then what is the fastest way to do the same?
good one bro
Great. Thank you
Very cool tip Sumit, thanks for sharing it.
Often I had to deal with this odd looking diagonal cell but didn't had a clue how to deal with it.
Now I'm happy that I know it.
Thanks again! and keep posting. 🙌
